Frequently Asked Questions
(FAQ)
If you are not wearing makeup during the day, sweating at night or using a night cream/serum, washing your face 2x a day is not necessary. At a minimum, you should wash your face at night and use toner & moisturizer in the morning and at night.
For those with oily skin, that wear makeup daily or sweat at night and/or use a night cream/serum, it is recommended to complete the entire daily routine in the morning and at night.

Do I need to wash my face 2x a day?
It is expected that your Luster butter will melt, if stored or transported in high temperatures for an extended period of time. The product will melt because there are no additives to increase the melting point of the natural ingredients.
If left at room temperature for up to 8 hours, the butter will return to a solid state. To expedite the process, you can place the product in the refrigerator for 1 hour. For a smoother consistency, stir periodically while waiting for the product to return to a solid.
Even after melting, the product can still be used as intended.
My Luster Butter melted, what do I do?
What should I do if my face starts to breakout?
If you are using the product for the first time and your skin starts to breakout, please review the product ingredients. Because food grade products are used, food allergies may be triggered.
If you have been using Luxor for sometime, this is what we recommend.
1. Environmental Impacts: Things in our environment impact our skin's behavior, especially the items that touch the skin on our face daily.
Start by cleaning items that touch your face on a daily basis (i.e. pillow cases, hair scarfs, makeup applicators, cell phones, headphones, etc.) at least 1x a week. This will prevent bacteria build up, which can be the root cause of many breakouts.
You should also consider any new hair, skin, or nail products and foods you have tried recently. New things on our skin or in our diet may cause sensitivities.
2. Care For Your Skin: It is important to note that no one's skin is perfect. If it was, there would be no need for skincare products.
After making sure there are no environmental factors contributing to the breakout, complete the weekly routine to give your skin a head start on mitigating the visual appearance of the breakout.

Luxor Skincare products meet the TSA carry-on guidelines. All products containers are under 3.4oz and can be packed in a carry-on when flying on a commercial airline. Because the containers are glass, make sure they are packed in a way that will protect them from breaking. Other cosmetics, liquids, creams and gels should be considered when packing as all liquids are to be limited to a quart-sized bag.
